One recent blitz game of mine on lichess: A nice example of what can go wrong for White in an open Sicilian. Black sacrificed his a-pawn to distract White's pieces to the queenside and then strikes in the center with important ...d5 break. This opens the diagonal for the dark-squared bishop to be transferred to the crucial g1-a7 diagonal targeting White's king. Later black used his extra space in the center to activate his rook via the 6th and 5th rank. He then started a direct attack against the white king leading to a beautiful checkmate.
