For me, it always was an excellent and great event, I really loved watching it.... There was no point in changing it. I like tournaments with history and the World Cup stayed in the same format since 2005. But maybe there is an upside to it? Why they do not cut the tournament in half with playing 45+30? that would help them save a lot of costs too.
