Reading the book and inserting the moves with commentary and arrows in Chessbase file. For me simply reading the books was never enough, since I forget 99% of everything I read. When I have to put moves manually, one by one into Chessbase, I am more active during the reading process, and not only that, it is much easier to repeat and refresh - since everything is now safely organized in a cohesive Chessbase file.
